Dad came home yesterday after a short business trip to China and had some treats for us. Although Cheerios and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese don’t sound like luxury items, they are to us! We haven’t been able to find Cheerios and the only mac n’ cheese we’ve seen was at the international supermarket for a whopping $5 a box. Are you kidding me? So when Dad bought some in China for $1 a box, we were so excited! I think we’ll have orders from the other families in the building next time he goes.
His other big purchase was a scooter for Little Man. Yeah!! At a quarter of the price, it is yet another bargain. It’s amazing how the US has many cheap items from China, but we can’t find them here and we are so much closer. Go figure! Needless to say, Dad will be encouraged to make trips to China AND he will be checking luggage.
