Tokyo Marathon

Dad ran the Tokyo marathon and finished in 2:56 - that is his best marathon time in 10 years! We are so very proud of him! Since it rained here the day before, we were a little worried about the weather and although it was chilly, it ended up being a pleasant day. It was so exciting to watch Dad and the other 36,000 runners!

The runners went down one side of

our street and then back up the other side

We were excited to see the world record holder

for the marathon. That is him in the orange

shirt and white gloves. He ended up coming in

fourth place and the guy in the green came in first.

We loved watching all the kooky people too!

We had a gospel choir singing near

us and the music was great!
